Whew! After being stagnant for over two years, this website has finally seen MINOR updates. Hehe. Forgive me. I changed my guest map and guest book, and updated my contact info as well. I've removed the link to my blog as I don't want a lot of people reading that. Hehe, selfish. I did update the links to my albums. ^_^

Well, the site still needs some major overhaul and I will work on those changes when I have the time. In the meantime, just keep on checking back for updates (if you haven't lost your patience yet).

About This Site

This is a personal site, which means, this is a place for me to put in things about me: my opinions, what I like, dislike (I hate the word "hate" ^_^v), what I don't know...so please do not flame me for what I write here, OK?

You could say that this is a product of boredom.  But this is also a product of the desire to express myself, and give myself a tiny space in the vast universe of WWW.  I am nobody famous, I am not rich, I will never win a Nobel Prize in Chemistry...but I do have a voice.

Future Plans for the Site

I want to put up my own Japanese lesson page in this site too.  But everything will have to be in roma-ji, since I'm sure that most of those who are interested in learning the language would not have Japanese language support on their PCs.

The most ambitious, however, would be to have a separate English and Japanese site with the same web contents. ^^;;

As you can see, there's a lot of work to be done.  But do check back often for updates, as I'll try to put in something new every week...or every two weeks.  Maybe once a month?  Oh, what the heck!  I'll update as soon as I get something done! ^_^v

My name is Cat; call me Cat or call me Cat-chan. Just don't call me on my cellphone. I don't like telebabad. Hehe.

I'm a twenty-something yuppie from Manila and I'm crazy about books, Harry Potter, snail mail, languages, travel and a whole lot more. I'm a wannabe web ang graphic designer; I'm getting there but not quite.

I'm open-minded and friendly and I generally get along well with all sorts of people. The problem with me is that I'm allergic to kikays and coņotics.

I'm TAKEN and very happy with my man, thank you very much. ^_^

10 Things My Friends Probably Did Not Know About Me

• I was a premature baby, born only after 7 months inside my mother's womb.

• When I was a kid, my first ambition was to be an altar boy...OK, you can stop laughing now.

• Ralph Macchio a.k.a the Karate Kid was my first ever crush!

• I don't know how to ride a bike.....I said, stop laughing!!

• I desperately want to meet Pope John Paul II.  I want to receive his blessings, and I want to talk to him, even for just 5 minutes.  The closest I got to him was during World Youth Day 1995, when he went to visit my university.  I was standing a good 100 feet away from him but I can feel the energy radiating from him!

• My favorite fictional family is the Weasley family!  Sometimes I wish I was a Weasley family member.  I can always dye my hair red, right?

• I drink Yakult everyday!  You should try it; it's good for your tummy.  Another favorite drink is CC Lemon, which you can get from vending machines everywhere in Japan.  Drink it because "it contains 70 lemons' Vitamin C!"

• I wanted to volunteer for Habitat for Humanity so badly....maybe someday.

• When I was a university student, I wanted to become the president of the country.  But after the experience of working in a government office, I changed my mind.  It's a very difficult job, I tell you.  That being the case, I really do not favor actors running for such positions in government.  

• I do not watch beauty pageants AND soap operas...they are just a waste of my time.
