Nephrite is the second shitennou who appears after Jedite's death. His mission in the beginning was to collect energy. He used the knowledge of stars to choose the victims. His famous phrase was "stars know everything".
Nephrite appeares as Sanjouin Masato, a tennis coach. While he appears as Sanjouin Masato, he puts his demon into the victim's goods, such as into their pencils or clothes. Nephrite is very confident and he takes his job seriously. He doesn't seem to get along with Zoicite, who is usually commenting on his works. While Nephrite posed as Sanjouin Masato, he met a girl named Naru, who immediately had a crush on him when she met him from the first time. In the beginning he just seemed to use her to get the energy or the crystal but later when Naru saved him from Sailor Moon's attack, he started to have some feelings for her. He even saved her when the youma attacked Naru but he didn't know why he saved her and he looked a bit surprised that he saved a human being. Later he was sitting in his mansion thinking about Naru smiling. He already had feelings for her but he just didn't want to admit it. When he knew who Sailor Moon really was, he wanted to kill her but suddenly he heard Naru's voice calling for his help and he went to save her. Nephrite save Naru from Zoicite's youmas and he carried her out. Naru used a piece of her cloth to tie his arm and they seemed to have a lot of fun with each other until the youmas attacked them. Nephrite saved Naru from the attack but he was hit by it instead. He was badly injured and he was dying. Before his death, he apologized to Naru that he couldn't take her to chocolate parfait and he told her he was glad that he met her and he died in Naru's arms.
My opinion about Nephrite
He is now one of my favorite characters in Sailormoon. I was so touched by Nephrite and Naru's love, so they both became my favorites. I think Nephrite is very handsome and I like his outfits. He is so cool when he is driving his red car!! I really wish that he didn't die because I love him with Naru!! Why do all the bad guys who turns good for love always have to die?!!
