There is about two miles of hiking trails that you can get by all the picnic areas and the nature center.

Blacklick Woods offers over four miles of unpaved trails great for biking and jogging.

Blacklick woods offers two areas of picnic tables free of charge to be use for your enjoyment. They have tables, grills, and horse shoe courts. The tables are available on a first come first serve basis. At the Beech-Maple Lodge and shelter house can be reserved. Near most of the picnic areas there are playgrounds.

The nature center is a great place to go to learn more about the animals you might see at the park and on your walks. There is also a place for you to sit and observe the wildlife outside without disturbing the animals. It also has a classroom and naturalist office.

The two golf courses are full 18 hole courses. The Championship Course is a par-72 while the Executive course is a par-58. Overlooking the courses is a snack bar and dining room. reservations can be made from these areas.

There are two cross-country sking trails for you to enjoy weather permitting. One is 2 miles long and the other is about 4 miles long. Also, a sledding hill is available at the golf course.
