New Moon FH Firecrystal Sold DOB 7-13-10 Color: red and brown buckskin with white Kidding history '12- Triplets, 2 does 1 buck '13- Triplets, 2 does 1 buck '14- Triplets, 2 does 1 buck '15- Triplets, 2 bucks 1 doe Firecrystal came from Topaz's (see above) first set of quads, and she was just very feminine and eye catching. Topaz freshened with a lovely udder, and had matured just wonderfully beyond our expectations. This is our first daughter retained from our previous herdsire FireHawk, and her color has deepened to the most beautiful dark mahogany Kingwood red. I was impressed with Firecrystal's first mammary, well attached, nice high, wide and tight rear attachment, nice capacity. Second freshening shows improved capacity and nice shape. Not quite as high a rear attachment.

Cookie is around 21" tall. Cookie's mammary is quite nice- well shaped, nice teats, strong attachments, high rear attachment. Cookie gave me a single doe kid in '09 sired by Goodwood Dynasty S*. And in '10 she blessed me with gorgeous triplets. I have been having difficulty getting Cookie settled since 2010. CAE, Johnes and Brucellosis negative 5/23/07.

She's on the larger side (around 22",) very long in the body with a nice level topline and rump. She has excellent body capacity with overall nice blending. Her main fault is weak front pasterns. Sadie has a well attached mammary system and she is one of my top milkers. She has very good capacity, nice soft texture and very long teats, nicely placed, and a very broad udder floor. As she gets older her mammary overall is holding up very well. I have had difficulty getting Sadie settled since 2010.font>
