As I'm moving to my own apartment in a while, I decided not to
start any big animation projects before that. Instead I'll
update my website, I didn't like how it looked. I usually am
happy with a site I create for about two days, after that I'll
either scrap the project or I redo the site. This time I decided
to redesign it completely.
I've learned a lot of interesting methods I'll be using. I'll
pay more attention to colors, and more importantly I'll make it
more easily updatable. This is why I decided to use frames this
time. I usually don't even concider frames, but I guess I'll
have to give in for now.
CSS. That's what I'll be using. I found that it's much easier to
have all the important definitions in a single file, and when I
want to change the color of all my text fields I just modify one
single number in a file and the change happens on all pages.
I also put most of my javascripts in an external file. There's a
lot of work to be done, but luckily I have some time on my
hands.
I hope to get back to animating when I've settled in my new
apartment.
