July 17:
I decided to join the Legomation
WebRing by Cool Brick Movies. I just added the logo to the
main page of my site and I'm now waiting for membership
confirmation from Seth.
July 12:
The Set Construction Tutorial is finally finished. I've sent it
to Seth like 10 minutes ago, I think he'll add it to his site
next weekend. Meanwhile you can see the
copy on my site here. I only wrote it because I needed a
break from my contest script writing, but now I'll start working
on that again. Hopefully I'll finish the script really soon, so
I can start storyboarding. I'm trying to get this project right.
On my other projects I've made too many compromises. On the
first one I got bored, and the other one was a test to see what
I can do in one weekend.
July 5:
I've offered my help to Cool Brick Movies. I'll be writing a
tutorial about Set Construction. I'm very interested to see how
it goes. I like writing tutorials, especially of subjects I
actually know something about, so with any luck this won't be my
last tutorial for someone else's site.
July 3:
The next animation contest has been announced, but this time
it's not by Brickfilms. Shootin Bricks and Mystic Studios have
combined their forces and are now having a Horror Movie Contest.
Take a look at the announcement at Shootin
Bricks website.
They have such great prices. It's going to be one tough
competition, since I'm against the big ones like Halidfw, The
Bluntman and Wandrer2.
There's also a Mystery Contest at Cool
Brick Movies. With some work I might be able to enter my
movie to both contests.
July 1:
I'm back from the Dark Ages. My summer vacation went well, and
now I'm well rested. I played a few 12-hour sessions of RtCW,
and other times I had 12 hour bugfixing sessions when RtCW
refused to work. Some of the problems were due to my Firewall
settings, some were caused by PunkBuster integration in the
game.
I'm more excited in Brick Filming than I was before my vacation,
and now I've been writing like crazy in the forums. Brickfilms
is designing a new site and they're asking for ideas. I have a
lot of those, hopefully some of them are good :-).
