Joy: Center Stage!!

For those of you who have never met our oldest daughter, we hope to allow you to get to know and love her through cyberspace. AND, for those who HAVE met Joy, well, we hope you are kept up to date with the many changes she is going through.

I am constantly telling my girls they are "too much!" Joy is still very much living up to her name. We are seeing some progress in her "training"...what I mean is that all the hours we've poured into good manners and behavior are starting to pay off!!! We were visiting my parents in Naples and decided to eat at Arby's for lunch one day. There was another group of kids there just about to bring the whole place down. I am proud to say my girls were excellent and I wasn't the only one to notice. An elderly lady came up to us and told us what a pleasure it was having such well behaved girls be in the restaurant. :-) It is hard work and a daily battle, but I am a firm believer in being a little more strict in the early years so that the later years, hopefully, will be less painful!
Joy's favorite activites are playing with her dollhouse and horses. She loves ask everyone to tell her stories about when they were little or when she or Marin was a baby. It's cute, but after 1000 times, I start to run out of things to say!
