The Association for the Relief and Welfare of Kammana

In May 1993, the Association for the Relief and Welfare of Kammana was offically established with five members, though it had been conducting unofficial projects and activities in the village since 1987.  Before then, there was no organization that dealt with the issues of Kammana.  Because of this, its primary objectives were to organize the village towards gaining recognition and improving its living conditions.
