Star of Ed's Big Wham Bam; general malcontent and curmudgeon.
BACKGROUND: A regular fixture with MuchMusic, Ed the Sock first
gained celebrity status as the star of the award-winning Toronto cable TV
program Ed's Night Party. Since then, Ed's been a regular fixture with
local and national media. Ed's caustic wit and unpredictable comments have
earned him a huge TV following and a 5,000 member fan club.
EDUCATION: Ed graduated from York University with a triple major in
biochemistry, molecular physics and drama.
PROUDEST TV MOMENT: Asking Robert Vaughn about his monoxidil
infomercials.
PERSONAL INFLUENCES: Frank Sinatra, Fred Sanford, cheap American
wine.
FAVOURITE TV SHOWS: Sanford & Son, The Jeffersons, Rockford
Files, Blossom.
HOBBIES & PASTIMES: Instigating bar fights, heckling Trekkies
and having sex with your girlfriend.
