This page is incomplete, it's 1am on a school night, can't exactly keep going right now. But all of the symbols are here, I just have to work on the explaining part and the character map bit. I don't think you can get much more bored than this, creating a page on symbols?¿? (haha I did one already).. Oh well, what's done is done and I'm sure *someone* out there will find it of some use to them, if so, let me know about it.
There are so many symbols out there, from your ABC.. to the 123.. except there are more! Symbols such as a's with dots on them, fractions, currency symbols, I'm sure you have seen them, and many people out there do not know how to access them or type them, except maybe in word processor programs.
It is the aim of this page (this page has an aim?) to inform the unsuspecting public of the use of such symbols. Maybe it will bring more life to usernames in chat rooms, maybe it will help a maths teacher typing fraction questions for yearly exams, I don't know. But at Mount Weiss, we have two things to offer - the Microsoft® Character Map so that you can simply copy and paste these letters, and a table of each symbol so that you can hand-type them without having to use the character map. Sound exciting?
