Notes for George MOZINGO:

A possiblity put forth for the parentage of Booth Mozingo is that his father could be George Mozingo who appeared in NC tax and voter records in 1779. This George Mozingo was most likely the brother of John who was the first Mozingo to move to NC. George would have been 52 and 71 in 1779. He age when he arrived in NC that could be a reason why George doesn't show up again in NC records. George doesn't appear to have left records in VA after 1766. This theory is based on current knowledge and needs to be researched more throughly.
