NAME: Christian Argenti BIRTHDAY: 3rd January LIVES: Melbourne, VIC
Christian Argenti is the lead singer of Invertigo. After spending years and years busking and singing in clubs he replied to an advertisement in a local newspaper for a band needing a lead singer for a new project that was kept very hush hush. After spending a lot of time with the Leigh Brothers and just seeing how much they clicked Christian won the role over a lot of hopefuls - a chance in a lifetime! And as they say the rest is history! Christian is now experimenting with song writing within Invertigo now and is showing of more and more talent as time goes by. This guy's voice can match it live and can really bring you onstage with the band feeling every emotion he is feeling - all I can say is...this is only the beginning.
NAME: James Leigh BIRTHDAY: 1st December LIVES: Melbourne, VIC
James Leigh has been in the music industry since 1984. In 1984 James joined Melbourne band Pseudo Echo and since then hasn't looked back. James can really play a lot of instruments from the guitar, bass, keyboard etc. Pseudo Echo was known for many hits including 'Funky Town', 'Don't Go' and 'Living In A Dream'. This band was a big hit and was getting publicity from all over the world. His brother Vince Leigh joined Pseudo Echo in 1986 as there drummer. In-between Pseudo Echo, Vertigo and Invertigo, James has also been doing a bit of remixing for bands such as Taxiride and Human Nature. James was also a musician on one Tina Arena album. This guy is very talented and gets out there to do one thing - play music!
NAME: Gerome Leigh BIRTHDAY: 10th May LIVES: Melbourne, VIC
Gerry has been playing guitar for many many years and has also been on a Tina Arena album. Gerry didn't really make it to the spotlight till Vertigo hit the airwaves with fellow brothers and Hugh Wilson in 1997. But before then he did fill in for mates in cover bands Vince was in in the early 90's. Gerry doesn't really contribute to the song writing but he certainly makes up for it on stage! Gerry is a wonderful guy who is always willing to come and and say hello. |
