  • 11/20/06 - Hey all! Wow, it sure has been awhile hasn't it? So those of you that visit this site often are probably aware that I haven't really been keeping it up. That is mainly because a few years ago I decided to put my music career on the back-burner to focus on other things. I'm still performing locally. You can catch me at a coffee shop or on a stage somewhere from time to time. And I still keep this site up 1) because it's a way for old friends to get a hold of me and 2) it's free. :o)
You can all keep up with me on MySpace - www.myspace.com/cmm92101. Take care! Love you.

    • 06/28/04 - Hiya everyone! You know...I seem to be making this 6 month news update thing a habit. So I think I'll continue to try to stick to it. :o) Most of you are friends and family anyway...so you know how much of a procrasinator I can be. So far, 2004 has been a great year for me. I am truly blessed to have the friends and family I do (and to have met the people I have over the past year). With all of the unfortunate events of the recent past, music became one of my last priorities (obviously). Thanks to some new friends (and a few old ones) I have realized that music is the one thing that keeps me happy and it is my life blood. Most of you that know me well know that I've always loved to sing, and I love to play the piano...but actually doing both at the same time AND performing for people was something I never thought possible (I wouldn't even attempt it). Thanks to the inspiration (and persuasion) of a new-found friend, Nathan Welden, I have actually done it - a shabby attempt, nonetheless, I've done it. Nathan is a local musician with TREMENDOUS talent, who has graciously given me the opportunity to sing with him on numerous occassions. Remember that name...he'll go places (with a little pushing)...and I'll be riding on his coat-tails (or pushing him a long). One of the two :o) Through him, I have also met some other great musicians. (Who-da-thunk that San Diego had so much talent?) I have also recently started sitting in with a band, "Pepper Tree," put together by one of my best friends, Jeannette Anderson, and her sister, Yvette. The band consists of some of the most talented musicians I have ever met. I have a lot to learn from them and I look forward to learning... And...I've finally started writing songs again...so far, in a fairly short amount of time, I've got two under my belt that are soon to be packaged up and sent off to Nashville for approval (coming your way Tony!). After I've got about 1/2 dozen, I'll start working on that demo that I keep talking about. Thanks to all of you for being so supportive and loving me despite all my interesting (and not so interesting) faults. I love ya! I'll be back to keep you posted! God Bless!:o)

    • 12/23/03 - Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all of you! I can't wait until 2004 kicks in...those of you who know me well know that 2003 was a challenging year...My father passed away in September after a year long fight with colon cancer. It's tough on us (the fam), but I know he's now pain-free and in a whole better place than any of us can imagine. I'm looking forward to the day we meet again. :o) This year holds lots of promise...I'm anxious to get back into the studio. I'd like to start recording some of my own stuff this time...I'm going to quit dilly-dallying around my music career and jump in head first! I've met some WONDERFULLY TALENTED musicians here in San Diego. I'm sure I'll learn TONS from them (and share what little knowledge I have)...I'll be sure to keep you all posted (more frequently than every six months). :o) Take care and God Bless! Have a safe holiday!

    • 4/28/03 - Hello all! Wow...it's been awhile hasn't it? Unfortunately, I have had to put my singing career on hold. As most of you may know, family complications have been a big focus of mine for the past 7 months...also...my manager Robert Metzgar has had the opportunity to get back into music with a blue grass band called the Smokey River boys, last time I spoke with him, they were planning on doing some touring with George Strait. So this break is a good thing. I've been doing some writing, and it won't be long before I'm back on the road to Nashville. Thank you all so much for supporting me...I love ya! Take care - God Bless!!!!

    • 1/15/01 - Hi everyone!  Happy New Year!  Well, it looks like I'm not going to be making the trip back to Nashville later this month (finances....you gotta love it!).  That's OK, though.  I'll have the opportunity to do another showcase sometime later this year.  Thanks to everyone who's supported me so far....I really appreciate it!

    • 12/18/01 - I guess my Fan Club link disappeared for a while....well....it's back!!!  Sorry :o(

    • 12/2/01 - Updates to the website!  I added  my Biography, Resume, Contact page, and audio clips!  Enjoy!

    • 11/20/01 - My website is FINALLY up! Now all of you can get regular updates on my progress!  As most of you are already aware. I am currently in the process of pursuing a career in the country music business. I am
working with the most amazing man on this project, Robert Metzgar, you can learn more about him on his web page, Capitol Management (the link is on my links web page.)  I took a trip out to Nashville, TN in early October to finally meet Robert and to record my first CD.  It was an amazing experience, everything I had imagined and more.  Many wonderful things have come this experience.  This January (January
22nd to be exact), I am one of four aspiring artists who will be performing for American Music Showcases in Nashville, TN.  This gives me the opportunity to show my stuff to some major record labels, and hopefully spark some interest in one (or more) of them...This opportunity is not without cost (like everything else in the music business). So I am currently seeking sponsorship to help me pay for the trip.  I have also started a fan club to help me with some of the expenses, so please join if you can! (You can click on the link to the
left...)  I'll keep everyone posted on upcoming events/issues!
