Big Mamma is old, not as old as Old Deuteronomy, but close enough. She has been to plenty of Jellicle Balls. It's also rumoured that she is the dame of
Kalikaylinda. Big Mamma got her family name, Aryka, from the singer Aryka Badu. The psychic who owns her thinks Badu's voice and her cat's voice sound similar.
She also thinks they have similar walks and purrsonalities. Big Mamma suspects the Badu was a cat in a past life, but that's another story.
