FINE PRINT

I really liked Fine Print. I do mostly game rules type printing or printing for my own use. Fine Print lets me print from 2 to 8 pages on the same sheet of paper. It doesn't do a bad job either. When you download, it will ask if you want to make it your default printer driver. I did, but you don't have to. After you install it just click 'settings','printers', then right click fineprint and set as default when you want to use it. I recommend it. It isn't free,...but, the demo is full feature and not time limited. It will print a one line ad for fine print at the bottom of each page. No more than I use it, I can live with that. In other words, it is the full program with an ad or else you can pay 40$. I won't use it that much myself.

The only shortcoming of the demo version is that it will only print up to 8 sheets. Depending on how many pages per sheet you set up, that can be up to 64 pages. It can also be setup to do front and back printing,(obviously not at the same time). It will also print a watermark.



AD-AWARE

There is a new version of ad aware. Version 4.5. It contains some updates and more spy types. The best thing to do is just uninstall the old version, (4.0) and then download and install the new version. There are some parts labeled new, just download everything then double click aaw45. It is very important to download all the modules before trying to install. Don't worry, it's not that hard, and it's a good program to have, and use on a regular basis.I use and recommend this to everyone who wants to know what is being done to their computer without their knowledge.



About Sam Spade and Spammers


If you have some especially persistant or abusive spammer bothering you, this site can help. It isn't exactly intuitive, but it is free. Click on all the info buttons and you can figure it out. It will help you locate the spammer and complain to his isp. It has some good advice too. Check out the tech tv site first. It will give you an idea of how to fight spam effectively.
