SP 246b - If there is an album that Sunny Day Real Estate can be known for, it would be for this album, "Diary". This was their first release on Sub Pop (1993) and "Diary" sold over 100,000 copies. The available formats for "Diary" are: Cassette, Compact Disc, and twelve inch vinyl. The artwork inside this album is absolutely fabulous. The artist, Christopher Thompson (a tattoo artist with parlor in Seattle, Washington) Expresses his work in a variety of mediums; showing expert skills in many fields. Unfortunatly, if you purchase(d) this item on cassette, you have been jaded. Most of the artwork is only included in Compact Disc and LP format. The CD and LP versions also include the beautiful lyrics carefully placed next to each picture; an ingenious design. Also included in the cassette and Compact Disc is a thanks list/story insert. All of these great features are included in the most memorable album in Rock history: Sunny Day Real Estate's "Diary".
