Gus is the eldest cat in the junkyard beside Old Deuteronomy, and just as loved. When he was younger, Gus was quite the actor. He had an impecable memory and a knack for improvisation. He has acted in many hit shows and recieved many forms of approval and admiration. The part and play that won him his largest ovation was "Fireforefiddle, the Fiend of the Feld." Now, however, he is quite old and shakes from palsy. His paws never stop trembling. Now, when he visits his few favorite pubs, if someone will pay for a bit of gin, he will tell them of his tales as a hit actor in a play. The cats in the junkyard all adore him and treat Gus with a great deal of respect. It is rumored that Jellylorum is related to him in some way--whether that be grand daughter, daughter, or mate--but qe don't exactly know how. Jelly helps him with his song, as well as "Growltiger's Last Stand", a play he did when he was younger. Before the audience's eyes, they change to Growltiger and Griddlebone, Together they relive the tale of how the pair fell in love, how the Siamese stormed Growltiger's boat, and the last final battle between Ghengis and Growltiger. Afterwards, Growltiger once again becomes the trembling, beloved Gus and is helped offstage by Jellylorum.
