Actually to stand your ground would be suicide as you would be swamped by victorious Hoplites. What you want to do is a fighting withdrawel with other men who are not running. As soon as you are out of range of the Hoplites, the skirmishers and cavalry will bypass you. Naked, men running with their back to them are what they are hunting for, not armed hoplites.
You must fight three more rounds of CLOSE COMBAT and if you survive all three then you have made it off the battlefield in one piece. Go to the SPOILS OF WAR.
