So how are ratings calculated?

Tara gave the answer HERE this is what it says:

Take the total number of answers (next to the user name) and subtract the number of polls and game questions from that number. then multiply that by the average to get the ranking.

Polls and game questions are not included when calculating ranking because we do not receive stars (ratings) for them.

She gives an example but the numbers here are more recent:

For example, I (taragl) have 2870 answers and GreyEyes has 3076, yet I am above her in the rankings. However, I would bet that if you look, she has answered more polls and riddles than I have. (I don't usually answer either.) When you subtract out polls and games, the rankings should come out just right.

Try it a few times until you get the hang of it.
