Don't tell
me
That everything's
ok
Don't tell
me
I'll make
it through each day
Don't tell
me
That years
erase the pain
Don't tell
me
Time takes
this away
Don't tell
me
When you can
never know
What I feel
And how my
heart aches so
Don't tell
me
That I have
changed
And turned
into a stranger
You no longer
know today
Let me tell
you
That we who
lost a child
Struggle each
day
Sometimes
it's hard for us to smile
Let me tell
you
This is hard
to understand
When we've
buried our little girls
And our little
men
Don't tell
me there is a cure
When a heart
is broken in two
Tell me, how
would you act
If your child
was taken from you?
Let me tell
you
One thing
you cannot see
You will never
be able to understand
Until you
walk this road with me
Don't tell
me
Unless you
truly understand
For I shall
hurt forever
Living without
my little man
Let me tell
you
That memories
come and go
And I can't
control the thoughts
That make
my heart ache so
So never tell
me
That all will
be ok
