DREAM~
I had a dream
last night
In it I wasn't
alone
For there
in front of me
Sat a man
on a throne
I saw the light
surround him
I saw the
beauty by his side
I knew I was
in front of God
I knelt down
and cried
WHY?
I asked in a whisper,
Why did you
forget me?
He softly
touched my head and said
Come, I have
something for you to see
He took my
hand and we walked
Down a road
that was so bright
He smiled
and said I never forgot
Can you see
into the light?
And there stood
in
front of me
The hopes
and dreams I'd always had
As my child
ran into my arms
My heart was
oh so glad
I kissed him
and I hugged him
And ran my
fingers through his hair
I told him
how much I missed him
But I was
finally there
Then God bent
down and took my hand
And said,
You cannot stay
I looked up
into His eyes
And said I
didn't want to go away
I only wanted
to show you
That your
children who are with me
Are waiting
until the day
I call you
into eternity
I woke up remembering
The road I'd
just walked
And how good
it felt to be with Him
And have our
little talk
I know my child
is in heaven
I know that
he's ok
For I was
shown the road
That I too
will walk one day
