I
made a promise
A long time
ago
I've carried
it in my heart
As I've aged
and become old
I promised
a love
As deep as
the sea
I promised
to love you
Through eternity
I've
kept my promise
All these
years
Through tear
stained pillows
And many silent
tears
My love never
falters
My memories
never fade
The love in
my heart
Will never
go away
We
are mother and child
We started
as two
Until I gave
birth
And separated
me from you
The cord that
joined us
Was cut and
tied
Yet the love
inside me
Will be here
till I die
I
promise no matter
Wherever I
may be
I'll love
you forever my child
