R-1 Mini-Con: Knockout in its Original condition:

magenergonorig.jpg (81827 bytes)1 - Energon Knockout/ Ultra Magnus  in its brand new condition from the box.

2 - Back of the box with error toy ads in which Energon Knockout/ Ultra Magnus was originally supposed to packaged with the Street Team, but instead he got the Space Team.

3 - Here's how the contents look once the box was removed revealing the contents tie onto the cardboard while others are sandwiched between two clear plastic tray.  And on a separate taped back, that's where you'll find all the paper works.

4 - These are all the contents that were included in the box/ package/ card: "1" cab, "1" trailer, "2" Energon Ultra Magnus' missiles, "1" satellite, "1" Astroscope's missile, "1" shuttle, "1" shuttle carrier, "1" Energon Knockout/ Ultra Magnus  instruction sheet, "1" Space Team instruction sheet, "1" trading card, and "1" Toy Catalog/ comic.

R-2 Mini-Con: Knockout in Vehicle Mode:

knockoutveh1.jpg (40186 bytes)In vehicle mode, Knockout measurement is approximately 3 x 1 5/16 x 1 14/16 (LxWxH in inch).  His overall appearance and design indicate that Knockout alternated mode is really a full truck as oppose to a regular cab portion of a truck like the G1 Optimus Prime or G1 Ultra Magnus.  The reason why he's not a cab because of the two additional windows at the side of  the rear of the truck.  So in total, he had 10 painted windows.  It's a shame that the designer had to put the stick out peg on top of Knockout truck because it looks a little bit awkward.  The better choice should've been placed onto Energon Ultra Magnus trailer or at least make the peg bendable if they're gonna put onto Knockout.

R-3 Mini-Con: Knockout in Weapon Mode:

knockoutgun1.jpg (52747 bytes)Knockout and Leader-1 are one of the very few Mini-cons to have a third mode.  To transform Knockout into his gun mode, simply flip his truck upside down and fold out the the two barrel and this mode is all done.  This double barrel gun mode can only be held by Jet Convoy, Magna Jet Convoy (bottom right image), or attach onto either Amada Prime trailer or Energon Ultra Magnus trailer (top right image).  Energon Ultra Magnus himself cannot hold Knockout gun with his hand because of two conditions.  One, Knockout form his head.  And two, Energon Ultra Magnus forearm wrist extrude out so much which make it a little bit difficult for him to hold anything.

R-4 Mini-Con: Knockout in Robot Mode (Instruction sheet Vs. My Modification):

knockoutrob3.jpg (38075 bytes)knockoutrob1.jpg (40424 bytes)Overall, Knockout has one of the most stable robot mode among his fellow Mini-cons.  His transformation for all three mode are very easy which require less than 5 seconds to do it.  The image at the left is the correct Knockout transformation according to the instruction sheet while the image on the right is my modification version.  I am showing these comparisons because I think Takara/ Hasbro either made a mistake on Knockout leg transformation or they were lazy to go for the extra step.  On the correct version, I think Knockout front side leg should've become the rear while the rear should've become the front.  As you can see from the right image, Knockout now looks like he has a real leg and with feet too when the two sides are flip flop with one another.  To do this configuration: 1 - detach both leg out.  2 - Position the side with the all white panel as the front.  3 - Reattach the leg back by putting the left leg onto the right hip socket and the right leg onto the left hip socket.

R-5 Mini-Con: Knockout's Power Links Port:

Knockout's Total Power Link Port: 1.

Active Power Link Port: N/A (Minicon has no Active Power Link Ports)

Dead Power Link Port: 1 (on top of his rear truck).

R-6 Additional Image:

knockoutrob2.jpg (47785 bytes)Knockout isn't your standard size Mini-cons because he is much taller and fatter than his kind.  He stands roughly 3 inch in height while most Mini-cons are like 2 1/4 inch.  The image on the left give you some scale comparison between Knockout and fellow Mini-cons Energon Space Team.  Another unique about Knockout is that he's probably the only Mini-con who have the capability to link with another Mini-con whether in alternated mode or in robot mode.  Image on the right shows Knockout power-link with the one of the Mini-cons Air Defense Team who go by the name Jetstorm.

Special Notes: Here are "2" special notes which I think you should know:

1 - Knockout is very important to Energon Ultra Magnus since he forms the head.  If you lost him, there is no other mini-con that can be used to replace him.

2 - The leg joints to the hip are easily detachable (easily re-attachable) and can get lost easily.

Overall Grade: [A] - Knockout is one of the best Mini-cons out there.  He has many play values thanks to his triple changer mode and also the ability to merge with Energon Ultra Magnus trailer to form the head.
