Raise
your voice in song at the 11:00am Sunday Mass.
Participate in the special liturgies for Christmas
and Holy Week. Practice is Thursday evening for
about two hours and Sunday mornings for about 45
minutes. A good singing voice and some knowledge of
music reading are a definite plus. Some training is
provided.

These
young parishioners serve at the Lord’s Table for
Sunday, Holy Day, Wedding and Funeral Masses in a
reverent and dignified manner. A great way to be
involved and to learn more about your faith. Open to
boys and girls in grades five through twelve who are
willing to make a serious commitment. (Training is
provided.)

Extraordinary
Minister of Holy Communion

Assist
in the distribution of the Eucharist at weekend and
daily Masses. Distribute communion with reverence
and dignity once a month. Requirements include a
training session for all who are new to this
ministry, a pre-placement interview with one of the
Parish priests and a bit of flexibility with regards
to your routine Mass schedule.

Instrumentalist

If you
would find joy in accompanying the choir, cantor and
congregation on a musical instrument as well as in
the playing of meditation music before Mass and
during Communion, consider becoming an
Instrumentalist. These musicians provide musical
support at the 9:30am, 11:00am and 6:00pm Masses and
for special occasions and holidays. An intermediate
proficiency (NYSMA Level 6) in your instrument is
required. There are two rehearsals for each liturgy.

Proclaim God’s living Word at weekend and Holy Day
Masses. Commitment is prior preparation using
supplied workbook containing the Sunday readings,
and a bit of flexibility with regards to your
routine Mass schedule. Great opportunity for a
deeper appreciation and knowledge of Sacred
Scripture.

and seat people prior to the Liturgy and gather the
collections. Commitment is approximately one hour
every week. Assist in Communion and Confirmation
Liturgies. Great opportunity for family involvement.
