Is Freemasonry a Religion?

Albert Pike, the Grand Commander of the Scottish Rite from 1859 to 1891, is one of the most honored and influential American Freemasons of all time. The Supreme Council exalts Pike by saying: "Albert Pike remains today an inspiration for Masons everywhere. His great book Morals and Dogma endures as the most complete exposition of Scottish Rite philosophy. He will always be remembered and revered as the Master Builder of the Scottish Rite." Just as Pike stated, Freemasonry strives to deceive Masons as to the true intent of Freemasonry. Freemasonry is an organization that deceives GOOD MEN.

Now that you know the truth - renounce this great evil. If you have been involved with Freemasonry and wish to repent, ask God to forgive you and renounce all ties with Freemasonry.

This false religion got its official start in England and the European continent in the early 1700's and weaves a tangled web throughout history as well as modern day politics and power. Freemasonry teaches the false doctrine of the "Fatherhood of God and the Brotherhood of Man". All Masonic lodges are called 'temples' and inside there is an alter, 'holy' books of various religions, prayers to a god called the "Great/ Grand Architect of the Universe", a false plan of salvation by works and the leader of the lodge is called the 'worshipful master', and yet, we are told by Masons that Freemasonry is not a religion. However, some of the most influential and founding fathers of Masonry here in America wrote that Freemasonry is, indeed a religion and went so far as to say it is "Luciferian" in it's nature. It is considered by official Masonic rules to be alright to mention Muhammad in lodge, but Jesus' name is not to be mentioned. Witnessing by Christians within the lodge is not permitted.

The world's most recognized official emblem of Freemasonry is the 'Square and Compass'. If you use your imagination only a little bit, you will understand what Masonic author Albert Pike meant when he states in terms intended to deceive the undiscerning in his book 'Morals and Dogma' the fact that this symbol actually represents the legs of a man and a woman in the act of sexual union. What kind of organization would wear such a thing on it's lapels? And who was Albert Pike? He was the "Grand Pontiff of Universal Freemasonry", the holder of literally hundreds of Masonic degrees which he claimed would cause an elephant to stumble to carry them all, and the author of the entire ritual as it exists today in America; therefore when he gives an interpretation of the ritual, that is what it means whether others wish to accept such teachings or not. He is the only one buried in the Washington, D.C. Masonic House of the Temple which required an act of Congress to accomplish. His book, Morals and Dogma (over 850 pages) is in nearly every Masonic Temple library. Some individual Masons today try to discredit him, but the history books do not lie. He was an extremely important man in the shaping of Freemasonry and the 'Craft' would not be what it is today without his input.
