Wednesday, October 15th , 2003 October 25th's Hardcore Halloween: Trick or Beat! just got a little bigger with the announcement of the participants in the first ever - the Halloween "House Of Horrors" Match - none other than hardcore legends NECRO BUTCHER and CORPORAL ROBINSON will be squaring off in a VCW ring! The ring will be wrapped in barbed wire and filled with Jack-o-lanterns.  In the Jack-o-lanterns will be various "tricks" such as 1,000 thumbtacks, a staple gun, and more!  But one of the lanterns will hold a "treat", the key that unlocks the "House of Horrors" which contains the most brutal devices ever used in Hardcore matches. Monday, October 7th , 2003 October 25th, VCW proudly presents Hardcore Halloween: Trick or Beat! The big story of the night - there will be a three bracket tournament to fill the vacant VCW Championship. -- this tournament will have three finalists who will meet in a 3-way dance ladder match to determine the NEW champion. Already entered: Bain Ric Byrne Logan Caine Super Hentai "MadMan" Shirley Doe "The Doomsday Jesus" Sterling James Keenan ALSO VCW Tag team champions Resident Evil will defend their titles! Monday September 29th , 2003 PRESS RELEASE DATED SEPTEMBER 29, 2003 As a result of injuries sustained on September 20th, Jason Downing (aka Porno The Clown) has made the difficult decision to retire from professional wrestling. At VCWs last event "Return of the Clown", Downing, who had defeated Ric Byrne for the VCW title, was attacked by Byrne after the match to further the story between the two.  During the attack, Ric delivered two "Third Degree" neckbreakers to Porno the Clown.  After the second neckbreaker, Downing, who has been suffering the past 6 months from disk problems and wrestling against doctors wishes, began convulsing in pain on the mat and stating he was experiencing numbness in his legs.  VCW staff rushed to Jason's aid and made the decision to call an ambulance, but at his insistence reconsidered.  Downing was instead taken to nearby Upper Valley Medical Center by VCW Staff, and was diagnosed as suffering from a NATRUM SULPH (Concussion to the spine) as well as rupturing two disks which Jason underwent surgery on 21st to correct. Due to the nature and seriousness of his back condition, Mr... Downing feels it's in his and his family's best interests to vacate the VCW championship rather than risk permanent, catastrophic injury.  VCW sadly accepts Jason's resignation and will hold a tournament to fill the vacant title on October 25th at "Trick or Beat".  Everyone at VCW thanks Jason for all of the memorable moments and wishes him a speedy recovery.  Best of luck to "Porno The Clown". Monday September 29th , 2003 Results from Saturday, September 20th: El Timor defeated Chris "The Kid" McGraw with the El Jobberino Verde Grande '99. TJ Dalton & JT Stahr bested The Juggulator & Flash Fury with a Powerbomb/Blockbuster Neckbreaker combo. Goth Brimstone beat Logan Caine with the "Soul Crusher" spinning sit-out side slam. "The Doomsday Jesus" Sterling James Keenan defeated The Stro with the STO (clothesline/leg sweep) VCW American Strong Style Champion Super Hentai retained his title via submission against JD Escalade. "Dark Angel" Mike West defeated Winston Donahue in a Texas Bull rope Match. In accordance with the pre-match stipulation Winston Donahue must now retire as a wrestler from VCW. Porno The Clown defeated Ric Byrne to win the VCW Championship. After the match Byrne attacked PTC and delivered two "Third Degree" neckbreakers. Porno began writhing in pain on the mat, complaining of numbness in his legs. Porno was taken to a nearby hospital were he was diagnosed with a spinal concussion and two ruptured disks.   Tuesday September 16th , 2003 Saturday, September 20th, VCW returns to the Miami County Fairgrounds with a HUGE show.  New VCW Heavyweight Champion Ric Byrne defends again the returning Porno The Clown!  "RR2K" Mike West takes on Winston Donahue in a Texas Bull Rope match - and if Donahue loses, he can never wrestle in VCW again!  The Stro looks to get a measure of revenge against Sterling James Keenan!  The American Strong Style Champion Super Hentai, will defend his title, Logan Caine, new VCW Tag Team Champions Resident Evil and others will be in action plus much, much more! Friday September 5th , 2003 Saturday, August 30th was a huge night in the evolution of VCW!  A new commissioner was crowned, as "Snack Time" Curtis Taylor defeated Winston Donahue in a street fight which also saw the return of Porno The Clown, former WCW Star The 'Stro debuted, Byrne was awarded the VCW Heavyweight Championship, and Super Hentai's Light Heavyweight Championship was re-tooled and is now the VCW American Strong Style Championship!  Full details coming soon, but this should whet your appetite!    Friday August 8th , 2003 Saturday, August 30th is the next VCW show, and rumors or floating over to us at violentchampionshipwrestling.com about the card. Already signed for that night VCW Commissioner (and self-proclaimed "Smartest Man in Professional Wrestling") WINSTON DONAHUE puts his commissionership on the line against "SnackTime" Curtis Taylor. Commissioner Donahue has let out word that he has a few surprises in store, including a mystery partner for "High Styles" Billy Niles, plus such stars as VCW Light Heavyweight Champion Super Hentai, VCW Heavyweight Champion Bain and "RR2K" Mike West. Wednesday, May 21st, 2003 Word has been leaked to violentchampionshipwrestling.com by none other than Comissioner Winston Donahue as to what matches we can expect on May 31st at the Miami County Fairgrounds, and they are huge!  In a "Fans Bring The Weapons" match, Donahue stooge "High Styles" Billy Niles will take on former Commissioner Mark Foley!  Super Hentai will defend his Light Heavyweight title against up-and-comer JT Stahr, and one half of Donahue's "Roughnecks" team, Mark Manson, will get a shot at the VCW Heavyweight title owned by Bain, in direct opposition to Bain's request to get Byrne in the ring!  Donahue's reign of terror and mindgames continue, but for now, you'd best be getting ready for a show that will knock your socks off! Violentchampionshipwrestling.com has already received information though - due to Byrne's interference in the main event, VCW Heavyweight Champion Bain has demanded that he be given an opportunity to take on Byrne when VCW returns to the Miami County Fairgrounds on May 31st!
