Date to Note: Thursday 23rd November: Shaolin Monks The Shaolin monks are coming to Nottingham. For those who have never heard of them, the Shaolin temples in China are credited to be the origin of nearly all Chinese martial arts, as well as those which have migrated to other countries. Monks in the Shaolin monasteries have spent their entire life training in the ways of Shaolin Kung Fu. They have conditioned their bodies and are able to perform amazing feats. For those who do not need this introduction, they are performing at the Royal Concert Hall on the 23rd of November. Show commences at 8pm and tickets cost £18. Both instructors are going to the show as well as most of the committee. Many members have also shown interest which is why the club has booked a number of tickets in case of the show selling out. Any members who are interested in going should contact Brian Lee or any of the committee members by Tuesday 31st October. Update 31 Oct 2000: All the tickets we brought are now sold out. You can contact the box office your self on 0115 9895555 |
