This unique idea came to the creator after years of being bombarded with cute japanese things, and the knowledge of a video game called DOKI DOKI - POUNDING HEART. The phrase 'Doki Doki,' which is Onomatopeaia describing the thumping of one's cardial organ, came to symbolize all that is cute and loved. And so does this comic, including guest appearances by Tare Panda and Hello Kitty to name a few!
