Hi! My name is Bobbie Sue, just an ordinary person,
and I want YOU for an MTC buddy.

THE GOOD NEWS IS THAT I LOST 20 POUNDS

"Make The Connection Program!"

The bad news is that I fell off the wagon,
and I haven't YET gotten back on...BUT I WILL!!!
I needta and I wanta lose again.

It's the very best program I have EVER used,
and is the ONLY program I'll ever use again.




The reason I have created this webpage
is to motivate ME and to motivate YOU to
GET WITH THE PROGRAM!!!

GET READY!

If you haven't been doing this already, when you buy groceries now,
begin replacing as many food items in your house as possible with
no-fat, low-fat, sugar-free items. Replace your regular junk-food/snack
items with fresh fruits, raw vegetables, popcorn!

Remember, you won't necessarily be eating less now,
just differently.
We're not talking heavy deprivation here. I promise!


Start walking for 20 mintues a day.
Go 10 minutes in one direction, then come back.
It's a start.


TODAY, start drinking six to eight glasses of water each day.
The easiest way to get into the habit is to have a special drink cup
with you at ALL times, and take a big drink OFTEN,
whether you want to or not.

GET SET!

Get yourself a copy of the book by Bob Greene (Oprah's trainer)
and Oprah, "Make The Connection."

Start keeping what Oprah calls a "Daily Renewal Journal."
Notebook paper in a ring binder, a spiral notebook, a fancy store-
bought journal book, whatever, just so you have a "Renewal Journal."
Write something in it every day, good-bad-indifferent, about whatever
is on your mind about your health, weight, appearance, self-esteem.
Brief or wordy, doesn't matter, good news or bad news, whatever, just
write something every day. The book explains the purpose clearly, but
keep one starting TODAY. Just writing in it honestly does help
your resolve to GET WITH THE PROGRAM. I promise.


Memorize the 10 steps outlined in the book.
You have 10 fingers to count em off on!
They are NOT that hard to memorize!

GO! GO! GO!

EAT a pre warm-up snack,
whether you want it or not.
GET OUT THAT DOOR and go on your morning WALK.
EAT breakfast, whether you want it or not.
DRINK YOUR WATER!
REMEMBER! At least 2 servings of fruit, 3 veggies today!
EAT a lunch. Do NOT skip!
EAT your mid-afternoon snack.
DRINK YOUR WATER!
EAT your dinner.
DO NOT EAT two or three hours before bedtime.
Write in your "Renewal Journal." Brag on yourself!
If you messed up, simply start over the next day.
RENEW! Get it?

DRINK LOTS OF

I don't have the journal, I just use notebook paper and a ring binder,
but you might prefer the one Oprah fixed up.
