The finals of the 2003 indoor leagues were played on Wednesday night, 16th April, in the local community centre. The long awaited evening proved a great success with some tremendous displays of talent on show from the youngsters in attendance.

The night was kicked off with the U-8 semi-final between Altagarran and Muldonagh. Altagarran took the lead early on with goals from Jonathan O'Dyer and Paul O'Kane, they continued to dominate the game despite the best efforts of Laim O'Hara scoring 1-1 for Muldonagh.

Next was the second U-8 final between Parkure and Farkland. This proved quite a fast game with Carolan Burke scoring 2-0 for Parkure, but this wasn't enough to beat Farkland who managed 3 goals in the game.


U-12 Finalists

Next up it was the first U-12 semi-final between Parkure and Altagarran. This game remaioned a close contest throughout but Altagarran pulled awy toward sthe end with goals from Ronan McFeely and Martin Farrell. In the other semi final Muldoangh overcame the challenge of Munreary by 8 goals to 4.

The U-8 final was then played, with Altagarran entertaining Farkland with a blitz of 5 goals, from which Farklan donly manged to reply one. Despite the best efforts of Odran McFeely and Padraic Mohanan, Altagrran were crowned champions, with captain Jonathan O'Dyer proudly taking home the silverware.

In The U-12 final Muldonagh had a narrow win Altaggarn in a closely fought contest. Cathal O'Hara and Eunan McFeely starred for Muldonagh when Martin Farrell and Siobhan Murphy did the scoring for Altagarran. The match finished Muldoangh 5-2, Altagarran 4-1. Muldonagh captain Cathal O'Hara was then presented with his trophy.

The awards were:
U-8 Player of Tournament: Paul O'Kane
U-12 Player of Tournament: Declan O'Kane
U-8 Goalkeeper of the Tournament: Aidan Burke
U-12 Goalkeeper of the Tournament: Claire Sheerin
Best Girl of Tournament: Carolan Burke
Winning Captains: Cathal O'Hara & Jonathan O'Dyer
