Well, two words down only one to go, what does Adventist mean? It means that we are awaiting the Advent, or the seond coming. We belive that now the earth is in it's period of judgement and soon the Lord will come again, first raising up those who have died in him first, and then those of us who are still alive will be raised up to meet him. The Bible says that no man will know the day or the hour of his return, so than all these people who claim to know when the Lord is comming back obviously are not reading their Bibles closely enough. It also says that the Lord will never set foot back on earth. That will be one way to tell the antichrist from the real second comming, if someone says they are god back to save us, yet they walk the earth than they really are not. Also it says that every eye shall see him, and every ear shall hear. That means everyone at the same time, all over the world. That seems impossible to us, but it isn't to God, for him anything is possible. So if someone says they are god, yet they have to tell us that over the raido, phone, or tv and not simply by doing what the scriptures say God will do than they are also the antichrist.
I firmly belive that we are living the last time right now, in comparrison to the thousands of years the earth has been here(yeah thousands, not millions)it won't be much longer now. We see that in the way the world is sinking deeper into a pit of sin and evil all around us. Read your Bible, look at the things you belive in, and ask your self one question.
Does the Bible say that, or does man?
