who had written this poem and
grew up in the very early 1900's.
This poem is in its original form and I do not intend to change any of it...these are his word and thoughts and must remain as written..
forgive the spelling or grammar
errors..for the message it brings is just as strong.
"OTHER SHEEP I HAVE, WHICH ARE NOT OF THIS FOLD,
THEY ALSO MUST HEAR MY VOICE
(The point is they could not hear his voice if
He did not speak to them. Those in Jerusalem
did not understand exactly what he meant by these words, the prophets testified that Christ would confirm this covenant with may for one week or
seven days(1 day in prophecy being 1 year.
Christ spent three and a half years in Jerusalem, where did He spend the second half of that week. Three and a half years with the lost tribes
of Israel,
GOD'S WORD CAN NOT BE BROKEN.
Who are you, why you roam?
And how you get your living -
Have you no God, No Home?
With stature straight and portly
And decked with Native pride
With feathers, paints and brooches,
He willingly replied:
"I'm Joseph's son, Manasseh.
And Jacob for me prayed,
But O how blessings vanish
When man from God has strayed.
Before your nation knew us,
Some thousand moons ago
Our Fathers fell in darkness,
And wandered to and fro.
"And long they've lived by hunting,
Instead of work and art,
And so our race has dwindled
To idle Indian arts.
"Yet hope within us lingers,
As if the spirit spoke:
He'll come back for your redemption
And break your Gentile yoke
"And all your captive brothers
From every clime will come
And quit their savage customs
TO LIVE WITH GOD AT HOME'"
