This is a very original animation creation. This eight volume collection is a mixture of the Old West with extreme science fiction. In this series, gunslingers reign supreme in the vast desert land and the townspeople are often the unfortunate ones caught between rivaling gunslingers. Trigun may sound like a drama, but at its very core, it is also a comedy set in a futuristic time and place.
The first volume begins with two claims adjustors named Meryl Stryfe and Milly Thompson from the Bernaldi Insurance Agency sent out on an assignment to search for the legendary gunslinger called Vash the Stampede. Why? Simply because this lengendary gunslinger acheived a dangerous reputation of wrecking havoc to any town. Eventually, they found this gunslinger who claims to be Vash the Stampede, but they refused to believe that this man was the legendary gunman. He appeared to be a young and clumsy gunslinger who refuses to use his gun and seems to depend upon luck to get himself out troubles with his enemies.
As this series progress, more secondary foes and allies of Vash are introduced and each character (past and present) plays an important role in unraveling Vash's mysterious past and also revealing the planet's lost technology.
