Wolfwood

Who is Nicholas D. Wolfwood?

Nicholas D. Wolfwood was first introduced in the series after Vash's encounter with B.D. Neon of the Badlands Gang. Vash and the Insurance girls, Meryl and Milly were riding on the bus travelling to May City when they noticed a glowing speck in the desertland. The glowing speck turned out to be none other than Nicholas D. Wolfwood. This mysterious traveller wearing a black suit with crosses on the cuffs, calls himself a priest and runs an orphanage in the town of December. Wolfwood claims that he travels across the vast desertland in search of helping those in need, particularly the children. In his travels, he rides his very unreliable motorcycle carrying an enormous cross, which he claims is just full of mercy. As Vash continues his journey across Gunsmoke with Wolfwood, he will learn that this simple "priest" is more than what he claims to be, especially when he doesn't hesitate to employ violence to bring about justice. With a little too much knowledge about the Gung-Ho Guns, Wolfwood is much more than a chain smoking priest. What Nicholas D. Wolfwood is, is a gunslinger with a buried past.

Weapon: The Cross Punisher

Wolfwood's weapon is the giant cross that he carries around with him. The weapon consists of three parts that he can use. He can use the 8 handguns that are hidden when he takes off the leather straps that binds the cloth wrapped around the cross. One end of this weapon can also be used as a machine gun shooting bullets continually at a lightning speed. Last but not least, the Cross Punisher triples as a large rocket launcher from the other end shooting massive explosive rounds at his most dangerous enemies (Gray the Nine Lives and the Puppetmaster).

"Praise the Lord!"
