Brampton Transit

At the end of 2001, Brampton Transit number 8690 momentarily held the record as the youngest "new look" bus in Ontario. Built in 1985 for Santa Monica Municipal Bus Lines, it was refurbished by Mississauga Truck and Bus and became the fourth of six ex-Santa Monica "new looks" to be added the Brampton fleet. When these photos were taken at the Brampton garage on January 26th, 2002, two more ex-SMMBL units were at MTB being refurbished.
