One Church . . . . . . . . . . . One City
HIS † CITY

Just as Israel of old had 12 tribes representing the covenant family of God, so does the present day Church (ecclesia: called out ones) have different expressions of God's forever family. Though Christians may differ in some areas of ministry, we hold sacred this truth JESUS CHRIST IS LORD OF ALL. Though we may do things differently, we will not (and cannot) depart from this central truth or obedience to His Lordship. For to do so we would come into agreement with the spirit of anti-Christ that is opposing the Kingdom of God.

Jesus said "I will build MY CHURCH, and the authority of hell will not be able to stand against it. All authority in heaven and earth is given to ME, therefore go and make disciples of all the nations."

His Church IS being built today. It is made up of people from every tribe, every language, every culture, a diverse people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation joined together in unity around the Lord Jesus Christ . . . our Savior . . . our Lord . . . our returning King. Many congregations . . . one church.

See links below for online local area congregations. If we have overlooked your website, please e-mail us and we will add your site.

Mobilizing the whole Church to reach out to the entire city with the love of Jesus Christ.

There is ONE BODY and ONE SPIRIT, just as you are called in ONE HOPE of your calling; ONE LORD, ONE FAITH, ONE BAPTISM; ONE GOD and FATHER of ALL, who is above ALL, and through ALL, and in you ALL.

  • UNIFIED PRAYER FOR CITY BRINGING DOWN WALLS OF SEPARATION . . . . . . . A fresh spirit of unity has begun in the Umpqua Valley. At a recent meeting of the South Umpqua Valley Ministerial Fellowship, local pastors met to pray together for a unified vision for the Body of Christ in our communities. Confession of sectarian prejudices and repentance brought healing and release of the Holy Spirit in the prayer meeting.

  • PROMISE KEEPERS CONFERENCE . . . Serveral local area pastors will be carpooling to Portland on March 10 to attend a Promise Keepers Clergy Conference to be held at Bible Temple. The one day conference is scheduled to deal with bringing churches together to prepare the way for revival in our cities.

  • TRUE LOVE WAITS . . . The youth groups from local area churches met at South Umpqua High School on April 17th to affirm there committments to remain sexually pure until marriage. Eighty eight teens signed committment cards. Music for the evening was by FACE IN THE CROWD, a local Christian Band from Roseburg. Youth Pastor David York challenged his audience to think of the importance of the marriage covenant and saving yourself for your mate.

  • PULPIT EXCHANGE . . . Pastors Carl Slaughter from Riddle First Baptist and Steve Clarke from South Umpqua Christian Center in Myrtle Creek led their flocks into new pastures on a recent Sunday Morning Worship Service as they switched pulpits to bless and strengthen the spirit of unity emerging in the community. Response . . . "Let's do it again!"
