The word VISION as used here in these scriptures, speaks of an "ongoing revelation" or "the unfolding of the purpose of God." When we have no real purpose in life or lose sight of God's purpose for our existence, we lose hope for the future and eventually wander about in a meaningless day to day existence of confusion (babylon means confusion). Much of the world today lives in such a condition, and sad to say, many of God's people live their lives without true purpose beyond just getting by. God never intended our lives to be meaningless, or for that matter, boring. Jesus said that He came to give us an ABUNDANT LIFE. . . .a full life, over-flowing with purpose, meaningful, satisfying, being loved and loving others, receiving blessings from God and then blessing others.
Implement the
mandate of our Lord Jesus Christ that
His Church
should show forth the victory of the
Cross by
triumphing over the authority of Hell.
Take
dominion in our sphere of influence
through
intercessory prayer and facilitate
restoration of
all things that have been lost and are
to be
restored.
Be
baptized, filled, and led by the Holy
Spirit and to
lead others into the fullest dimension
of spiritual
life.
Build a
covenant community of believers who are
walking
together in unity with a Bible-based
system of
values and Holy Spirit inspired
convictions.
Conduct
corporate gatherings for the Church
which provide a
format for worship, preaching of the
Word of God,
prayer, Body ministry, giving of our
substance, and
evangelism.
Provide
pastoral oversight that will provide a
nurturing,
healing atmoshpere for the maturing of
the saints.
Equip
the saints, through the five-fold
ministry of
apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor,
teacher so
that the Saints find their place and
ministry
of building
up the Body of Christ.
Provide
a place for community where new
friendships are
birthed and grow into committed covenant
relationships.
Instruct,
model, and live sanctified lifestyles
that honor
God and bring glory to Jesus Christ.
Extend
the Kingdom of God by being salt and
light to our
generation through Godly lifestyles
given in service
to God and our fellowman.
Train
and release new ministries to ensure the
ongoing
advancement of the Church in future
generations.
Fulfill
the command to disciple the nations by
preaching and
teaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ
requiring
repentance, faith, baptism, and
following all that
He has commanded.
