~ARCHIVES~
As a group, soapfans are among the
most loyal, supportive, and enthusiastic people in the world. Our favorite soap opera is much more than just
a part of our daily routine. It's our second home, our second family, and often the most exciting part of
our week. Only another soap fan can understand and share in this passion. I don't know about you, but I
get pretty tired of defending my soap addiction to the rest of the world. If there are places where people can rattle off sports scores every five seconds, there should be a place where soapfans can share too. We don't all have the opportunity to meet our favorite stars or attend a soap event, and sometimes those who do don't have a fellow soapfan in their life to share it with. That's why I've created SoapFanMag to be a magazine written by soapfans for and about soapfans. I hope you will all join me in sharing your ideas, experiences, and love for our favorite show with your fellow soapfans!
I began watching General Hospital when I
was in Grade School, back when Frisco first pulled the cap off of Felicia's long locks and revealed the woman of his
dreams. Although I have watched other soaps, just about every one on TV at one time, I always return
to GH. I will confess, I've always wanted to be an adopted Spencer..... But I want the Q's to set up
my trust fund. I wouldn't mind having someone like Sonny looking out for me, either..... But the best
guardian angel would have been a grandfather like Steve Hardy. I continue to believe that Port Charles
is the most adventurous place on earth, while somehow remaining the homiest. That's why I've decided to
dedicate this magazine to the characters and events of that infamous city.
This is not a website, but a magazine that happens
to be online instead of in print. I hope that you will flip through the pages as you would with any
other magazine. All articles and pictures are provided by me or submitted by fellow soapfans like
you. Please feel free to print them out to share
with other soapfans, but I ask that nothing be
altered and that you inform me of how many copies
are being distributed. Please do not copy and paste any part of these pages for other Internet use. Many
of the pictures are available to purchase from the original photographers, so please do not use them
without permission. All articles are the property
of SoapFanMag. I look forward to hearing your comments and sharing your stories in future issues!
