ADVANTAGE OF VOLUNTEERING IN INSEED PROJECTS All the programmes of INSEED use peer-previewed and recommended projects. INSEED volunteer can not be accepted if their programme did not meet our requirement of involving a recognised mentor in the institution. INSEED has the responsibility to arrange suitable mentor in target country. We have now ongoing vacancies for students and ex-students in the field of civic design, architecture and planning, business administration and organic farming. In addition, we do need students staying in UK and providing advise to the students working in India. This is a very carefully crafted initiative to develop the consultant capability in the students. For the community in India it is very important resource as they get hold of latest know-how without any cost. This know-how provision is intended to be linked to provide the students a UN volunteer status. By doing work in INSEED projects, you eventually could use this as a launching pad in your career in such organisations as United Nations Development Programme. As the competition is very severe, therefore, our approach of involving the best brains in diverse faculties could ensure that performance level of our volunteers is best in the voluntary sector.
