Kenneth began his career in Science in grammar school where, at age ten, he built a model "atomic village". He continued in high school where he completed a Science oriented College Preparatory program of classes. Then, in 1964, he began his career in Communications at GTE(security, land line, micro-wave, satellites and computers) and entered a series of studies at El Camino College. He then entered the US Army Security Agency and was granted the highest of Clearances. He received training in Security, Russian and Flight Training where he also served as Platoon Leader and graduated with Honors. He qualified as a Red Cross Sr Life Guard and Water Safety Instructor, Certified in Advanced First Aid and Life Saving, CPR, Emergency Care and as a Life Guard Instructor. He also graduated with Honors from advanced training in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Medicine. As Chief SIO he was heavily involved in designing, testing and teaching advanced tactics. He was then involved in field proving designs and tactics in Vietnam as Crew Chief of a Helicopter Gunship assigned to an Air Assault unit. He was decorated for nearly 500 hours flying in combat, successfully completing dozens of missions, in scores of battles and hundreds of sorties. He successfully photo-documented a large portion of his experience. After the military he returned to GTE and completed an additional series of studies at El Camino College finishing on the Dean's Honor List. He then joined Tait Boat Co where he completed the hull and systems design, systems installation and construction of a proto-type 65 foot yacht. He served as buyer and expeditor as well as receiving Senior Scuba Certification and held the position of Dive Master for the project. He then transferred to the Univ. of California in La Jolla where he completed degrees in both Communications and Visual Arts (Film and Television), on the Provost's Honor List. He began working as a professional Film and Television Producer and started his consulting company (Technology Enterprises) before he graduated. He worked with the IMAX Camera cutting edge Computer Animation. After he joined the UCSD Medical School, producing teaching videos and films for the Professors, Doctors and Medical Students, he met the Director of University Hospital, who then shared with Professor Thompson the knowledge that he had been Airborne in the Korean War. Based on shared combat and medical experiences, they initiated programs which resulted in enhanced Nutrition and Training Science; Sports and Emergency Room Medicine; Trauma and Burn Centers and the first civilian Helicopter Ambulance. After they joined Stanford Univ. Medical Center, they initiated the same, then, ground breaking programs as well as overseeing the installation of the most cutting edge Medical Research and Technology. He assisted in vastly expanding Stanford's computer capabilities and, together with NASA-Ames and other installations as Moffet Field, assisted in enhancing the, then current, levels of Flight and Space Medicine. At this time Professor Thompson entered the MBA program at San Jose State Univ. He also helped initiate Disaster and Emergency Response Programs, received Red Cross Certification as part of the Primary Stanford Univ Emergency Response Team and served as an Official Observer during their first Disaster Drill. Before, during and after his time with Stanford, he taught Advanced Multi-Media and Computer Science applications to the business, engineering, science schools and communities as well as the Univ Medical Schools and Hospitals, at the same time pursuing projects, involving the full range of technologies and industries, with his consulting company (Technology Enterprises). At this time he was asked to join the Staff of the organization of the Egyptian Museum and Planetarium. He assumed the position of Administrator of the satellite campuses in all of the English speaking countries and India, as well as, dean of professors (Class Master). He was then asked to assume a Director's position on the Board of Directors of the parent corporation, as well as an Officer's position, that of Secretary of the Board. Simultaneously, he was asked to assume the responsibilities of the Dean of the Univ. As highest Director on site, he was in charge of buildings, grounds and security. Worked with the Vietnam Veteran's of America and the Vietnam Combat Veterans (the group that created and oversees "the Moving Wall", a half scale model of the Vietnam Veteran's Memorial. Professor Thompson assisted in the creation of the California Vietnam Veteran's memorial and photo-documented the dedication ceremony. He is a Biographee in Who's Who in California 1982. Served as the 100th Anniversary President of the Native Sons of the Golden West in 1985, served as Secretary of the 100th Anniversary Committee, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bear Lodge Committee, and served as Chief Marshall of the Redwood City 4th of July Parade. At the same time he served on the 100th Anniversary Committee of Leland Stanford Junior University and the 25th Anniversary Committee of the Stanford Medical Center. Retired as President & Dean Emeritus of Rose-Croix University International; Dean of the School of Philosophy, Professor of Art, History and Science, Supreme Sovereign Director and Supreme Secretary of the Board of Directors of the Supreme Council, the parent corporation of the Supreme Grand Lodge of the Rosicrucian Order, Ancient Mystical Order Rosae Crucis, AMORC, a non-sectarian philosophical and educational non-profit corporation. At the time Professor Thompson was asked to join the Staff of the organization of the Rosicrucian Order, Egyptian Museum and Planetarium, he assumed the positions of Administrator of the satellite campuses in all of the English speaking countries of the World and India, as well as, Dean of Professors (Class Master). He was then asked to assume a Director's position on the Board of Directors of the parent corporation (the Supreme Council of the Supreme Grand Lodge), as well as an Officer's position, that of Secretary of the Board. Simultaneously, he was asked to assume the responsibilities of the Dean of the University. As highest Director on site, he was in charge of buildings, grounds and security. By applying the skills and experience he brought to the position, he supervised a complete renovation, of the buildings, gardens and statues of the facility and was able to save many thousands of dollars in the process. Valeria and her second husband Melvin were killed when their vehicle collided with a tractor-trailer on Route 248 between Parryville and Bowmanstown, Pa. They observed their 10th wedding anniversary in April. Both were former council members and held offices at the Lehighton Nutrition Center. They were members of Trinity Lutheran Church, Bowmanstwon. Mrs. Beck worked for Pam's Sportswear, Weissport, for 10 years until retiring in 1985. Before that, she worked at Scotty's Fashions, Palmerton, Pa. Valeria and Melvin were cremated. Some of Valeria's ashes strewn under tree in Parryville, remaining ashes buried in cemetery in Allentown.

Valeria married (1) Robert Q Koch. The marriage ended in divorce.
