20. Joseph⁴ Finney ( John⁵, Richard⁶, Charles⁷, Samuel⁸, John⁹, John¹⁰, John¹¹, William¹², John¹³ Fienes, Richard¹⁴ Finies, Roger¹⁵ Fynes, William¹⁶ Fines, William¹⁷ Fienes, John¹⁸) was born 1778. Joseph died April 4, 1863 at 84 years of age. His body was interred April 1863 in Southampton, Pennsylvania.

He married Sarah Tillyer.

Joseph Finney and Sarah Tillyer had the following children:

+ 9 i. John Franklin³ Finney.

21 ii. Elizabeth Finney. She married William Banes.

22 iii. Ellen Finney. She married Joseph Hobbs.

23 iv. William Finney. He married Mary Ellen Praul.
