Our classroom is a highly structured setting dedicated to supporting students with Autistic Spectrum Disorders. We support eight students, with a wide variety of needs using components of the TEACCH method (Treatment and Education of Autistic and related Communication handicapped CHildren).
Our focus is on the development of language and communication skills, social skills, self-help & academic skills. An emphasis is placed on maintaining appropriate behavior and developing independent skills through the use of structure.
