The Internet is unlike any other
resource. Books, encyclopedias, periodicals, CD-ROM databases, and reference
software are all compiled by companies that employ people to check and
double-check information and facts before they are published. This does
not happen on the Internet! Anyone can publish a Web page on the Internet,
from an expert to a third-grade student. The Internet resources selected
in the WebQuest lessons below have all been selected for their quality
information, but if you want to really test your Internet Web page evaluation
skills, check out the sites under "Bogus or Valid Web sites" and see if
you can pick out the fake sites!
