Mission Statement of The Rural Rainbow

The Rural Rainbow exists for the purpose of serving the rural gay and lesbian community of western Pennsylvania and eastern Ohio. It was created because we are not well served by other websites and organizations in the surrounding areas of Cleveland Ohio, Pittsburgh PA, Erie PA and Youngstown OH. The Rural Rainbow is not a foundation or organization. The Rural Rainbow is a personally created website for the purpose of serving the community. The Rural Rainbow desires to serve the counties of:

Pennsylvania:
Mercer, Venango, Clarion, Crawford, Warren, Armstrong, Lawrence, Butler, Jefferson, Elk

Ohio:
Mahoning, Trumbull, Columbiana

The Rural Rainbow is not an adult website and does not allow porn in it's contents or links.

AREA SERVED: Rural Rainbow desires to serve a limited area that is not very close to Pittsburgh, Erie, Cleveland and State College. Other organizations and websites serve those areas and I do not wish to step on their toes, I just want something for OUR area. The map below shows our coverage area. The areas marked with a red "X" shows "No way" (although we might mention some of THEIR events, because they really aren't that far). The areas within the green lines are served. The areas with a green "+" are especially focused on.
