Contributed papers dealing with any aspect of analytical science and other fields of chemistry will be accepted for oral or poster presentation during the scientific programme of the conference.

Oral presentations will be allotted a 20-minute period, while poster presentations will be exhibited for at least a one-day period.

An abstract of the paper should be submitted to the Secretariat not later than November 30, 2001. The authors of accepted papers will be notified not later than December 20, 2001.

Abstracts should be sent by electronic (MS Word 98) or by ordinary mail. Abstracts sent by facsimile will not be accepted.

The abstract should be prepared according to the following guidelines:

on A4 paper using a high-quality printer with
a 2.5 cm margin on all sides using
a 12-point Times New Roman font with
1½ line spacing
title of the paper in bold capital letters and centered
name of the author(s) centered and at two line spaces after the title,
underlining the name of the presenting author
affiliation of the author(s) centered and at one line space after the name(s)
with a maximum of five keywords
written in English with not more than 300 words.

A three- to five-page (including tables and figures) extendeded abstract should be submitted to the Secretariat not later than February 19, 2002. The extended abstracts shall be published in the APCAS and 18th PCC Proceedings which will be issued in the following year.
