The Poetry Of...

Daniella Urshing

Soul Mates.

Sometimes I sit alone thinking of you,
wishing I was in the safety of your loving arms.
You have become such a huge part of my life,
even though I tried hard not to let you so
deep inside my castle walls. I tried to keep
you at bay - determined not to be hurt again.
You know how to wound me deeply,
I try hard not to let it show. Yet I know
in my heart the tears will flow.
The longer time goes by, the harder it
will be to ever say goodbye.
I can`t hide from you, you know my
deepest thoughts and darkest desires.
You are everything to me;
friend, lover, and the occasional enemy.

Thank you.
