 
"I Can Only Imagine"
Death came into your hospital room one day 8 yrs. ago,
And took you sadly from the ones who loved you so.
But on the other side of that dark and fearful door,
The Master stood waiting to hold you in His arms once more.
He touched you with His nail scarred hands,
And life began to flow.
He wiped away all the tears,
And your face began to glow.
I couldn't see beyond the veil,
of sorrow and defeat.
I prayed so long for a miracle,
That would bring you back to me.
My dear Cassie, oh so young,
so precious and so sweet.
Gone in a flash from my life,
Could this truly be?
Memories flow inside my mind,
of happier times together.
"Fast as fast can be, you'll never catch me,"
I will hear your sweet voice forever.
What fun we had at Disney World,
Pops and you and me.
All that precious time together,
A gift, at the time we did not see.
You and Uncle David have passed thru this earthly life,
And entered into Heaven with the Master by your side.
We couldn't know this at the time,
'Cause the tears had clouded our eyes and mind.
But now I know dear Cassie,
That you were not alone.
Your Uncle Dave was there to greet you,
And the Master smiled and said "Welcome Home."
One day we too shall pass from this earthly life,
And the Master will be waiting patiently up above.
Our tears will turn to laughter, our mourning into joy,
For we will be together in a circle formed by love.
