demo, and the demo became the record. I never
re-sang the song. They built the orchestra around it. I'm glad
James Cameron changed his mind about having a song in the movie. A lot of

Dion presented with most expensive disc ever
On March 21, 2002, in
London, Céline Dion was presented with the most expensive disc ever in
recognition of 15 million album and single sales in the UK. The disc is a
one-off, designed and manufactured by the Queen's jewelers Asprey & Garrard.
"I feel honoured to be receiving such a precious award. But, at the same
time, I know that our children are the most important part of our lives. They
bring out the good in the world and they give us hope. I'm thrilled that I can
donate this award to 'Help A London Child' and I thank everyone involved with
this charity," said Céline.
The disc was presented to Céline on Thursday, March 21 by 95.8 Capital FM's
Chris Tarrant, who is a patron of the charity.
"I've always been a bit of a Céline fan, and to have something like this
donated to Capital's 'Help A London Child' is just fabulous. If it can raise
anything close up to £50,000 - then it'll help us help a lot of needy kids in
London," said 95.8 Capital FM's Chris Tarrant.
Set in solid silver, the disc features a full-length gold silhouette of Céline
Dion, sprinkling 15 handcrafted individually cut diamonds across a black acrylic
landscape frame - plus a diamond set Céline logo. Each diamond is mounted in a
5-point white-gold star, representing each of Céline's album and single sales
in the UK.
In total, the piece contains over 2.5 carats of diamonds.
The disc was sold by £70.000.

American charts: her song "A New Day Has Come" hold for 21 consecutive weeks at number 1 on
the Billboard Adult Contemporary chart. It was another record breaking number
for Celine Dion.
