Rubble...
The ball that sat between the Trade Centers was pulled from the rubble and sits in Battery Park, not far from the site, as a temporary memorial. As you can see the damage that was done, especially on the top portion. Seeing this was the first part of the whole 9-11 that hit me, my heart just sunk.
One nation.....
The sight of ground zero is undescribable. Seeing pictures is one thing, being there is a totally different feeling.
Ground Zero....
What one can see from the viewing platform at ground zero. Work is constant and non-stop. It was an empty feeling to see ground zero. A whole new view about September 11 is now in my heart. It now is more real to me and a part of my everyday life because of the many stories I heard and the people I met that were there that day, talking to the people that lost close friends, and talking to the people that find bodies.
