[In this article, it says Aaron's debut album when it's meant to be his sophomore album Aaron's Party]

"If you could invent a Dr. Seuss character, what would it be and what would it do?" That's the question Disney Adventures magazine recently asked pop sensation AARON CARTER. "It would be a dog with eight legs. And it could change into different things, like become the opposite of what it is," explains the imaginative star. But the fictional creation is beginning to sound a bit like the pint-sized artist himself. After all, at the tender age of 13, Aaron is not only a teen idol with several albums under his belt, but the youthful entertainer also boasts a stint on the recent hit Broadway production, Seussical. And now, on the heels of his multi-platinum Jive debut, Aaron's Party, comes the latest musical effort from Aaron Carter.

Entitled Oh Aaron, the collection comes at you in the midst of his highly successful Summer Party 2001 tour featuring sister LESLIE CARTER and the ABBA tribute band, the A*TEENS. The new pop project is another mix of playful raps about girls, growing up and just plain having fun. But one cut even offers a glimpse into what it's like living with his celebrity sibling. "Hey Nick, I need a favor from you, dude. I promised people tickets, so you gotta come through!" raps Aaron on the album's hot new single of the same name. But scoring free tickets isn't the only favor he gets from his babelicious big brother. BACKSTREET BOYS' NICK CARTER appears on two cuts off an album which also showcases Jive newcomers, NO SECRETS. And while the catchy hit single makes waves all over town, the Carter camp is gearing up for the album's second star-studded single.

"Not Too Young" is a funky digital ditty that, again, features the veteran chops of Aaron's Backstreet bro. In a nutshell, it's a tale about girls, pagers, rides and whose video is slated to appear later this month. In fact, the cut sums up the album which Aaron describes to Launch.com as a bit of the "same old, same old." "I would tell them that it's a little more mature than the last one, but it's just me and it's my same voice," describes Aaron. "Nothing's changed -- all the same producers and writers did it." And there are a few other things that just never change. The collection may reveal a slightly "more mature" artist, but it's the album's "bounce wit me" cut, "Kid In You," that really sums up life behind the scenes. "I'll never forget what being a kid is/Even though I make a lot of dough/I keep it real ... To have fun is my point of view" raps Aaron.

Apparently Nick hasn't forgotten what's like to be a kid either. The Carters' mother JANE recently divulged to J-14 magazine that when Nick and Aaron get together, it's nothing but trouble. Some of their antics include egg fights and something they call "garbage bowling," a past time that involves a golf cart and the neighbor's trashcans. Nick even chucked a pie at his brother while Aaron was accepting an award at Nickelodeon's Kids' Choice Awards! "It wasn't whipped cream," Aaron told Tiger Beat. "It was shaving cream, and it got in my eyes and they got all puffy." This playful clowning -- if not sometimes a bit too mischievous -- actually stems from a tight-knit relationship between the brothers, a bond that formed the moment little Aaron came into the world.

Born Aaron Charles Carter on December 7, 1987, Aaron was the brother Nick had been praying for. But he wasn't the only addition to the Carter brood. His twin sister, ANGEL, emerged just minutes before. Along with his three siblings -- BOBBIE JEAN, Leslie and the infamous Nick -- the clan grew up on the waterways of Tampa, Florida, where one day Aaron unearthed a rather interesting undersea secret. "I found a weird fish what had never been discovered before," he tells Tiger Beat. "It was in a big shell and it looked like a dog. I took it to some marine biologists and I called it a Go-Go fish." Despite his potential knack for aquatic discoveries, it was about this time that Nick would plant the entertainment bug in his little brother. "If Nick wasn't a singer, then I wouldn't be here," says Aaron. "He supports me and is the one who asked me if I wanted to sing. I was interested in performing before, but I think it would have been a lot harder."

Aaron's singing career began at age seven, when he and some friends formed a band called DEAD END. Living up to its name, the outfit would soon fizzle out due to "artistic differences." "They wanted to do alternative music and I wanted to do more pop," he recalls. With newfound free time on his hands, Aaron began taking vocal lessons and polishing up his moves, perfecting the latter by imitating his brother's superstar quintet. In March of 1997, Aaron got his big break when he joined the Backstreet Boys on stage in Berlin, a performance that would ultimately result in his 1998 self-titled debut on Adel Records. The prepubescent collection featured hits like "Crush On You" and "Crazy Little Party Girl," both of which were major overseas hits. The worldwide success would quickly set the stage for a follow-up opus in 1999 entitled Surfin' USA, an album that featured an energetic remake of the sun-drenched BEACH BOYS classic. Now a full-fledged chick magnet in his own right, Aaron would go on to open for the likes of BSB and BRITNEY SPEARS and work with top acts like *NSYNC and THE MOFFATTS. In 1999, he would also contribute the single "(Have Some) Fun With The Funk" to the 'Pokemon' soundtrack before releasing his double-platinum third album, Aaron's Party (Come Get It) in the Fall of 2000.

With his latest release still hot off the press, it's hardly a bold prediction to say that Oh Aaron is sure to follow platinum suit. Despite its eminent success, however, Aaron is still vowing in song and deed to "keep it real." That is, riding dirt bikes and playing his Sega Dreamcast whenever he chills. But for the additional chicks and kicks that fame is sure to bring, keepin' it real won't be an easy task for the adorable pop sensation! Nevertheless, whatever the future may bring for Aaron Carter you can rest assured. His mom will still make him take out the trash.
